Alaska
Notary Supplies

Being an Alaskan notary means at minimum you will need an inking notary seal. So what is an inking notary seal? Alaska requires all seal impressions be photographically reproducible. This could mean one of two things. Your easiest option is to get a stamp. The other option is to purchase a Seal Impression Inker in tandem with a Seal Embosser. This makes the raised impression created by the embosser suitable for reproduction. We are in compliance with AS 44.50.064 requiring commissioned notaries to use an official seal containing the phrases “Notary Public” and “State of Alaska”. As demanded in the aforementioned state statute, notary name should be entered during customization exactly as indicated on your commission certificate. The seal can be either round or a rectangle. And while a journal may not be required, it is best to follow state good practice recommendations and get one. Protect both yourself and clients. Browse these and other supplies options below.
